It is our desire that you would become a part of our church family and find a place where you can both receive and give. We have suggested a few ways to get connected with what God is doing at Zion. Three main ways are as follows:
- Worship God Together
- Fellowship Together
- Serve Others Together
Worship God Together:
We recommend that you get involved in our regular worship service on Sunday as well as a mid week Bible study as a way to enhance your personal times of study and worship.
We find that participation in regular services is one of the best ways to connected at Zion. We also see this principle of regular attendance in the New Testament, Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25.
To facilitate this part of connection we offer:
Sunday Morning 9am Bible Study and 10:30 Worship Service
- Precepts Bible Study Course Tues Eve 7:00 PM
- Mid Week Service Wed. 7:00 PM
- Men’s Discipleship Group Sat. 8:00 AM
- Weekly Men’s Prayer Group Thurs. 6:00am
Fellowship Together:
We recommend that you pursue relationships with other fellow believers. We believe that strong families and strong friendships make a strong church. This idea is captured when Jesus said, “
… “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-38 To facilitate this part of connection we offer
Ohana means family in Hawaiian and each summer we take the time to be together as an entire church family for a “lay back” breakfast or lunch. These events are a favorite for many offering an environment for fellowship and growth in relationships. For more information about Ohana Sundays Contact the

- Yearly Retreats for Youth, Men and Women
Our retreats range in location from the mountains to the ocean. It is our aim to provide opportunities for people to get away from the busy Southern California lifestyle and get recharged through the teaching of God’s Word, Fellowship and heartfelt worship. For more information about scheduled retreats, feel free to contact the
church office
Our annual church picnic falls in the month of May. It is an opportunity to spend a day together laughing, playing, eating and enjoying the friendship with God’s people. It is a favorite for kids and adults alike.
Each Sunday we provide a place to gather, have a cup of coffee, donuts or bagels and catch up with friends as well as meet new ones. You will find our hospitality table in the courtyard directly behind the main sanctuary.
Serve Others Together:
We recommend that you find a place to serve others using the gifts and abilities that God has given you. The Gospel of Mark records that Jesus did not come to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. This is the same attitude that followers of Christ take on.
To facilitate this part of connection we offer opportunities to serve:
